Who should I contact if my baggage is lost or damaged?

You should contact the airline you have flown with. For Thomas Cook Airlines contact 0161 489 5344. For Air Transat flights contact an airline representative at your arrival airport who will help you complete a Property Irregularity Report and explain how your baggage will be traced. If a representative is not available please e-mail cbagages@airtransat.com or baggagetracing@airtransat.com. Canadian Affair does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.

If I have booked a connecting flight will my luggage be automatically transferred?

We’re afraid not. You will have to collect your luggage and check-in separately for each flight. We would also advise you to leave a minimum of 3 hours between your flight arrival time and the new departure time of your connecting flight. Delays do occur from time to time and neither Canadian Affair nor its airline partners accept responsibility for missed connecting flights.

Can I take food products into Canada?

We’re afraid not. Agricultural laws in Canada are extremely strict and prohibit the carriage of food into the country.
